Form Family Overview

Under the Form & Data Entry menu, the Form Family section displays a comprehensive grid of all your imported forms along with essential quick-access controls. This centralized view allows project managers to quickly deploy and configure individual surveys.

Key Data Columns & Configuration Options

  • Data View: Access submitted records and dataset previews directly for each form.
  • Allow Edit: A quick toggle to lock or unlock the ability for field workers to edit their submitted data (Active/Inactive statuses).
  • Public Visibility: A toggle to make a form publicly available without requiring enumerator authentication.
  • Webform’s URL: Instantly retrieve the unique public link to share browser-based data collection forms.
  • Override Settings: An advanced configurations modal (accessed via the cog icon) for tailoring form-specific rules, values, and disabling specific features.
  • Form Identifiers: View standard metadata, including the Form Family name, Family Code, and a unique Form ID.
  • Geo Configuration: Specific mapping or geo-point configurations tied to the form structure.
  • Lock Form: Feature to lock submission access to finalizing the data collection phase.

Form Actions and Navigation

The top control panel facilitates batch operations and alternative form views:

  • Action to Device: A powerful drop-down tool enabling project managers to assign tasks, send targeted forms, or dispatch actions directly to specific enumerators’ field devices.
  • XLSX Form Tab: Quickly navigate from the main management grid to upload environments for handling new native XLSForm files.
  • Form Builder Tab: Access the built-in tool for visually constructing or modifying forms dynamically without using exterior spreadsheet software.
