The System Dashboard

The Dashboard (/cpms/cpmsDashBoard/indexNew) serves as the administrative command center and primary landing page for the Real-Time Survey platform (RT-CPMS).

It is designed to give survey managers an immediate overview of active projects, quick links to essential tools, and a centralized hub to navigate across all major platform modules.

Key Features

1. Project & Form Selection

The left-hand panel contains the Forms and Reports navigator. This area lists all active surveys in your workspace.

  • By selecting a specific survey (e.g., RTA - SURVEY 02), you direct the dashboard to focus monitoring and metrics solely on that project.

2. Visualization & Metric Filters

Above the project list, you can toggle between several critical data perspectives to monitor real-time fieldwork progress:

  • Count by start time / end time: Track when enumerators are beginning and completing their survey sessions.
  • Count by submission date: Monitor the overall daily volume of data reaching the server.
  • Count by username: Evaluate individual enumerator productivity and performance.
  • Map of interviews: View a geographic (GIS) distribution of where survey responses are being collected to ensure spatial coverage requirements are met.

3. Application Portals

The center of the dashboard provides instant access to the data collection interfaces. Depending on your enumerators’ hardware, you can launch or direct them to:

  • Web App: For browser-based data collection.
  • Android App: Link to the Google Play Store or APK.
  • iOS App: Link to the Apple App Store.

4. Direct Module Shortcuts

Three prominent action buttons allow rapid transition to the most frequently used operational modules:

  • Form & Data Entry: Jump directly to manually managing collected data.
  • Analytics & Reports: Open the Business Intelligence (BI) suite to cross-tabulate and chart survey answers.
  • Permission Configuration: Adjust who has access to the active survey and what roles they hold.

5. Global Navigation Sidebar

The collapsible left sidebar provides access to the complete ecosystem of RT-CPMS backend modules. From here, you can dive deep into:

  • Setting Up: Managing staff and active devices.
  • Fieldwork Management: Tracking enumerators’ daily activity.
  • Quality Assurance: Implementing and reviewing QA rules and flags.
  • Final Deliverables: Exporting your cleaned datasets to CSV, PDF, or Stata.
